YOUR INFORMATION, CLEARLY EXPLAINED
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Brújula Creativa receives when you visit the website, complete the mini diagnosis, request an interview, book a service, or use the application, and what we do with that information.
Last updated: August 27, 2026
1. Who is responsible
Brújula Creativa is a vocational and professional guidance brand for artists and other creative professionals. The person responsible for this policy is Gabriel Villa-Avila. For privacy questions, requests, or data deletion, email usdclp@gmail.com.
2. Information we may collect
- Contact information: name, email address, and country.
- Professional or creative information: your profile, goals, obstacles, decisions you want to analyze, and mini-diagnosis answers.
- Diagnosis result: primary and secondary hypotheses, the result title, and consent date.
- Account information: if you sign in with Google, we receive only the basic information you authorize, normally your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Booking information: date, time, time zone, and information you provide when booking through Cal.com.
- Technical information: basic information needed for security and operation, such as IP address, browser, device, error logs, and service activity.
- Communications: messages, requests, comments, and responses you send us.
We do not intentionally request sensitive information, medical histories, passwords, banking credentials, or full card numbers.
3. How we use information
We may use it to:
- generate and save your mini-diagnosis result;
- respond to requests and coordinate interviews, diagnoses, and follow-ups;
- create and manage your account in the application;
- personalize recommendations and remember your progress;
- process bookings and confirm payments through external providers;
- send service-related communications and, when appropriate, follow-ups or news;
- protect the website, prevent abuse, resolve errors, and improve Brújula Creativa; and
- comply with legal obligations and valid government requests.
Depending on your location, we process information based on your consent, performance of the service you request, our legitimate interests in security and improvement, or an applicable legal obligation. You may withdraw consent for future communications at any time by contacting us.
4. Sign in with Google
If you choose “Continue with Google,” authentication is provided through Google and Supabase. Brújula Creativa uses the authorized basic information—such as your name, email address, and profile picture—only to identify you, create your session, and display your profile.
We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or your Google password. We do not sell Google user data, use it for personalized advertising, or transfer it to third parties except to providers required to operate authentication, for security reasons, or when required by law. Our use of Google user data is limited to the practices described here and the permissions you accept on the authorization screen.
5. Providers and external services
We use providers that may process information only to perform their functions:
- Supabase: authentication, profiles, and application data storage.
- Google: sign-in and, when applicable, Google Meet or Calendar for meetings.
- Cal.com: availability, bookings, and reminders.
- Stripe and Mercado Pago: payments. Payment information is provided directly to these companies; Brújula Creativa does not store your full card number.
- FormSubmit and email: receiving and responding to forms.
- YouTube and social media: playing videos or opening external profiles when you interact with those features.
- Hosting provider: publishing, securing, and operating the website.
Each provider may process information under its own terms and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them before using their services. We do not share information with third parties for them to sell or use for their own advertising.
6. Cookies and local storage
The website and application may use cookies or local storage that are strictly necessary to maintain a session, remember preferences, prevent repeated misuse, and retain progress on your device. Embedded content such as YouTube may use its own technologies when you choose to play it. We do not currently use diagnosis answers to create advertising profiles.
7. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain the history you request, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. Inactive requests may be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. You may also request deletion at any time.
8. Security and international transfers
We apply reasonable access, authentication, and security measures to protect information. No system is infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Some providers operate servers outside your country; your information may therefore be processed in the United States, Chile, or other locations where those providers operate, with applicable contractual or legal safeguards.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, export, objection, restriction, or deletion of your information. You may also withdraw consent for promotional messages without losing communications necessary for a service you have already requested.
To exercise these rights or delete your account and associated data, write from your account email to usdclp@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy or deletion request.” We may request reasonable identity verification before completing the request.
10. Children
Brújula Creativa is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us so we can delete it.
11. Nature of the service
Diagnoses and content are educational and provide professional guidance. They are not therapy, medical evaluation, legal, tax, or investment advice, and do not guarantee artistic or financial results.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, providers, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised version at this address and show the new update date. If a change is significant, we will try to provide notice within the service or by email when appropriate.
